Volunteer Interest Form

Do you want to serve with us? We're always looking for help on these teams. We believe many hands make light work. Most of our volunteers help out around once a month. That way, everyone still gets to be a part of community life. Just click on the area that you'd like to join and a leader will get in touch with you.

Did you first meet Jesus in Sunday School? Statistics show that most of us did. I bet you STILL remember the name of a Sunday School teacher who made a difference in your life and pointed you towards Jesus! Here's your chance to make a difference in the lives of our youngest Jesus Followers! Our KidMin volunteers typically teach or assist once a month. We'll ask you to fill out an application and background check form. Hannah Oakes will contact you to give you all the details on Kids Church.

Make a joyful noise! Can you play an instrument? Do you love to worship? We'd love to have you audition for the worship team. Team members are usually on stage once or twice a month, and the commitment includes a Saturday rehearsal on the week that you're scheduled. The entire team meets quarterly for worship and prayer together. Our Worship Director, Josh Davis would love to meet with you to see if the worship team is a good fit for you!

On the Media Team, you get the best seat in the house! The Media Volunteer works closely with the Pastors, the Worship Leader, and the Sound Tech each week. They facilitate overhead lyrics during worship, and anything that goes on the screen during the service. All you need is basic computer savvy and a willingness to learn and we'll teach you the rest! Media is also a once a month commitment.

Andrew Mills leads our sound team and he makes us sound GOOD. The Sound Tech attends Saturday worship rehearsals as well as Sunday morning service. It's a technical job that requires some skill and finesse. Andrew and Bo are great teachers and would love to have you join the team. You'll shadow them for a while, and learn the in's and out's of sound management before you run point on a Sunday. The Sound Tech works closely with the Worship Leader and team, as well as the speaker for the week.

Got a knack for baking? We need your sweet skills! Help us sprinkle some joy into our Sunday morning service by baking your favorite homemade treats—cookies, muffins, brownies, you name it! If you're up for adding a little sugar and love to our fellowship time, Karen Rivas would love your help.

Our Greeters are the first, friendliest faces you see when you enter the building on Sunday! Greeters serve once a month or less, and this is a GREAT way to get to know everyone who calls Christ's Center home. Not to mention, the Greeters are often the "Face of Christ's Center" to first time visitors and guests. All you need for this job is a smile!
Pastor Mark leads the Ushers each week. They help pass communion and offering baskets and help people find seats as needed.

Ready to get plugged in? Amazing! We're so thankful for you!

We'd love to have you jump in and serve in a way that is both simple and sustainable for you. Nobody should ever "burn out" from serving a church or ministry. So don't sign up for too much! We are in this thing for the long haul. Let's run a good race together!

While each of these teams has different leaders or point people, Carlie handles all the scheduling. If you have any questions about any of these service areas, you can connect with the leader, Carlie, or Janell; or email us at christscenter@christscenter.com.
